Big Clyde Clean Up 2026
March 14th to April 24th

Again Green Tangerine have committed to clean up the shoreline from Finlaystone Burn to Wemyss Bay. 

Join the fun and really make a difference.
We are looking for community groups willing to clean up sections. Are you willing to help? All equipment provided. Please contact us for more information.

The launch of the campaign in partnership with Parklea Branching Out and Inverclyde Food Network is

Saturday 14th March 10.00-1.00 at Parklea Branching Out. Everyone is welcome

We will pick up litter from Parklea and Kelburn Park

Further dates and locations will be added here as they are agreed.


This year we are collaborating with litter picking groups on both sides of the River Clyde to really make a difference to the marine life in the Clyde.

We hosted
24 events
and were joined by
193 adults and 81 young people
to pick up
311 bags
plus lots of large items including:
  • traffic cones
  • sinks
  • tyres
  • new shoes
  • guttering
  • child’s slide
  • crates
  • road signs
  • bits of cars
  • toilet seat
  • garden chairs
  • buckets
  • framed picture.
