Celebration Picnic 2025

We had great weather and were joined by 100s of people to enjoy the activities. 54 bags of rubbish picked up by participants!

• 12-12.05: Welcome
• 12.05-12.35: Book bug session with Inverclyde Libraries
• 12.45-1.30: Nature walk with the Clyde Muirshiel Park Ranger
• 1.30-2: British Divers Marine Life Rescue demo and information tent
• 2-2.30: Musician: Shelagh McKay Jones
• 2.30-3.15: Musician, campfire and marshmallow toasting

• RIG Arts will host a drop-in Creative Workshop from their mobile Art Bus
• Pick up a bag of litter for a free ice cream
• Cycling without Age will offer rides for young and old
• Games on the beach
• Information stands

We hosted

193 adults and 81 young people

to pick up

311 bags

plus lots of large items including:

• new shoes
• guttering
• child’s slide
• crates
• road signs
• bits of cars
• toilet seat
• garden chairs
• buckets
• framed picture.
