
Big Clyde Clean Up 2026
March 14th to April 25th
Green Tangerine committed to clean up the shoreline from Finlaystone Burn to Wemyss Bay.
We hosted
29 events
and were joined by
244 adults and 72 young people
to pick up
365 bags
which weighed approx.
1,460 Kilos
plus lots of large items including:
- 2 gas canisters,
- lots of paint pots,
- bucket,
- lawnmower bin,
- many road signs and cones,
- toilet seat,
- trolley,
- pushchair,
- lots of tree guards,
- fence,
- 2 bikes,
- metal posts,
- chair,
- tyres x3,
- cones x 4,
- orange barrier,
- wheely bin,
- portable toilet,
- cupboard door,
- bits of an engine,
- knife,
- saw,
- rakes x 2,
- petrol mower,
- Gerry can,
- traffic bollard,
- car wheel,
- metal drum,
- metres of 'BT drawrope'
