Awards NIght for Nominees 
All nominees will be invited to an Awards Night on the 22nd of August with Sky Sports presenter David Tanner hosting the evening. There will be great experiences and prizes up for grabs - you will not want to miss this!

We can’t tell you as it’s a secret, but we know you will love them. The Scottish Football Association are putting together exciting incentives which we know will be as fabulous as when Scotland qualified for Euro 2024! So, get cracking and #PlayACleanGame. 

What the Nominees need to do

The nominees need to create and upload a two-minute video showing what you have as an individual player, or a team have achieved during the six months of the pilot study.

Individual – both for under 12 and 13-18 

• You need to come up with an idea and work with your club to implement it. 
• It must have an environmental impact and you and your club need to show what the benefit and improvement has been. 
• It must take place in the six months of the pilot study from Jan-June 2024 
• What’s the difference that your idea has made? Can you measure this? Please tell us about it. 
• How have you involved others in the club not just your teammates? 
• Show your passion in making an environmental difference within your club and #PlayACleanGame

Team – both for under 12 and 13-18 

• You need to come up with an idea to reduce single use plastic within your club, on the football pitch and beyond. 
• You need to show that your club has measured and can demonstrate the impact of what you have achieved.
• Show your passion in reducing sole use plastic within your club. What creative and fun idea have you been able to implement as a team which stick in everyone’s minds when reaching for a plastic bottle drink so that they “ditch the plastic” and #PlayACleanGame
• It must take place in the six months of the pilot study from Jan-June 2024

• The five clubs that are taking part in the PACG six-month pilot study. 
• Two age groups – under 12 and 13-18.
• Two categories – individual player and team. 

Nominations will close on 26th June 2024 - we won’t be able to accept any nominations after this deadline.

What happens next? 

Our winners will be chosen by our judging panel made up from The Scottish Football Association, Keep Scotland Beautiful, and Green Tangerine who will meet on the 4th of July 2024 to decide on the winners.
